As planting season approach, our plug plants are growing and ready to flower or already have some flowers!

Our plugs are mature plants which created a full healthy root system in 250 ml pots of soil less potting medium and have a large crown of diameter above 10mm.

Plug plants are easier to plant than those of bare rooted, using less quantity of water in transplant and less labor. Also plugs establish more quickly as roots remain in soil which minimize transplant shock. The average loss rate is less than 1% which is much lower when compared with bare rooted plants.

The most important advantage of plugs over bare rooted, is that plugs are already mature plants continuing their life cycle. Growers do not have to wait for the plants to go out of their dormant stage and start reproduction. This result in having earlier production season with better market price and also extend market season, and that’s what commercial growers seek for.
